LOVE SONG

I attended a Valentine’s banquet this weekend, and everything was beautiful. The food was great, the decorations were simply elegant, and I was delighted in each presentation. If you had been there, you would probably agree with me in saying that it would be very difficult to choose just one performance that stood out above the rest. But there was one that touched my heart the most. The coordinator of the event had asked various men to sing a song to their wives in front of everyone. Some sang better than others, but there was no doubt that the wives were delighted in having their husbands to serenade them. There are many ways to express ones love to another. But how special it is to have someone to sing their love to you. You may or may not be with someone who serenades you, but even God sings to those in whom He delights. Valentine’s may be over, but God’s love for you continues on.
