HAPPY NEW YEAR, LEMONADERS!!!! I cannot believe that 2019 is already over, and I also cannot believe that we are already 20 years past the Y2K

scare! Where did all of this time go??? As I descend back to reality from my memory lane cloud, I cannot help but to think about what the new year will bring and what goals I should set for this year. I am not really all that great at making or keeping a New Year's resolution. Remember when I encouraged everyone to exercise by including an exercise video on the post from the beginning of last year? Guess who hasn't even thought twice about exercising, and it's been too long ago for her to even remember when she last decided to lift anything beyond a fork or spoon to her mouth? Sadly, me :-( Sorry for being a hypocrite. No excuses, just pure laziness. I have to do much better in this area, especially since my top and bottom areas are expanding without permission...LOL! I don't think that this is what Jabez was praying about when He asked God to enlarge his territory :-D

So for this year, I pray for a new vision. Proverbs 29:18 says, "Where there is no vision, the people perish." With all that has been going on in this country, a God-given vision is so needed--even for our individual lives. I pray that God will provide me with a vision for the new year and beyond. One that refreshes my soul and keeps me close to Him. One that gives me continuous hope that He has a great plan and destiny in store for me. And, one that shows me how I can serve Him more throughout this year. 2019 and the other years before are gone. I cannot reach back in time and grab that time back. But what I can do is ask God for a 20/20 vision for what He has planned for me during this year. In 2020, I want to have a clear F.O.C.U.S.-- (be) Fearless in my faith; Overcome the obstacles that will help me to grow; Commit to my God-inspired calling; Understand that everyday has purpose; Stay clear from obvious distractions. I am not trying to take on a defeatist mindset before we can even see the tail end of 2019 disappear, but I am sure that no matter how optimistic I am, there will be setbacks--some self-inflicted and some unavoidable. That's just part of the growing pains of life. But I do know that God is a God of providence and purpose. So, what will your goals be for the new year? What are you asking God to give you a vision for? Leave 2019 behind, grab a new pair of glasses, and allow God to give you a clear view of what He has for you. See you in the new year!

NOW, LET'S CELEBRATE WITH A.....
