I am sure that there is much speculation as to how April Fool's came about. And I am equally sure that people have many ideas of what a fool is. But there is one thing for sure--I do not want to be a fool in the sight of the Lord. We definitely do foolish things from time to time, but to completely conduct life as if God does not exist is a whole nother thing. There are quite a few scriptures in God's Word about foolishness or one being a fool. I encourage you to take some time and research and read such scriptures. The bible also speaks of wisdom, and a scripture verse that readily comes to mind for me is James 1:5. The New Living Translation says, "If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and He will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking." In other words, you cannot do life well without wisdom. And you cannot receive wisdom without asking God for it. The choice is up to you.
On a different note, a few of you know that I like to bake desserts. I want to share with my Lemonade readers something that I whipped up in the kitchen today--a new "brownie" dessert with sprinkles to be exact. Scroll down to see this yummy dessert.
